According to royal commentator Daniela Elser, Prince Harry has been advised not to confront Prince William and Kate Middleton, as it could potentially harm his chances of being invited to future royal events.
Elser suggests that since William and Kate will likely have more influence on how Buckingham Palace deals with the "Sussex Question," Harry should be cautious in his actions towards them.
Elser also believes that if William and Kate continue to feel animosity towards Harry, any efforts to reconcile or extend an olive branch to him could be jeopardized.
Essentially, if the Waleses prefer to keep their distance from the Sussexes, then that's the way it will be. However, Elser notes that hopefully such a scenario won't arise anytime soon, especially given the recent royal funeral.
